thanks for this. just to let you and everyone else know, i think i've seen or heard this mentioned before, but this concert wasn't in the haleakala crater, as noted. it was in maui, on the mountain technically, but the mountain is huge! the concert was held in a random field or farm apparently. i was born and raised in maui, so that sort of explains how i know this. i spoke with someone who went to the concert and she said the name of the farm it was on, but i can't remember. i know none of this really matters, but i just thought i'd waste my time and type it anyway. thanks.

i already have this, but would love the artwork, is there a place i can get it...
I'd been looking for this Mauna Haleakala footage for quite awhile as it's my favorite live music concert of all time.
Previously only had what's shown in the Rainbow Bridge movie, but years later had come across a full audio bootleg. Then later still, I spotted pieces of footage show up on YouTube, portions not in the movie that I'd never seen before. So then I knew this whole show must be "out there" somewhere.
Happy to say my search is over having found it here at Cross Town Torrents. Thanks to everyone involved in sharing this music, including the man with the guitar.
fucking excellent
A real labour of love! Thanks to all concerned who made this available![]()

Including a surfing dog!
you make feel great when the torrent finished!!! and then when I saw it but it's a waste of talent that the entire show never had been release

We were over there 2 years ago and drove up to Haleakala. I'm not sure the last time you were in Maui but there are houses everywhere on the lower part of the Mountain now. I'm comparing this to the film footage and still photos from the concert. The fields at least part of them are still there just surrounded by homes and places to rent bikes to ride down from the top for the toursists. Never made it to Seabury hall that I was told is still there since it's a school. Thanks for sharing.
Thanx !!!!
Isn't there a little snippet of MLK or Captain Coconut in the original film soundtrack? (Not on the lp of course, but in the movie.) I always wondered how that got in there.
Thanks for all the efforts on this.
I'm glad that you mentioned the details in the description... When I saw the movie I was pissed-off that the song "Ezy Ryder" was plastered-over with surfing footage instead of concert footage - I guess they had a reason for that!
And while I'm on the subject of plastered-over concert songs, in the Monterey film "Can You See Me" showed some guy painting a picture of Jimi instead of the concert footage.... God, I wanted so much to actually SEE Mitch's playing of that recording... Oh well.
Thanks again.

Just finished watching it...nice one

Does anyone know why I keep getting an invalid torrent file message when I click on the link? I'd sure like to get this one, it looks like it will be awesome...
